008 Alice McCabe (UK)Heather Kapplow (*1972, USA) is a self-trained conceptual artist based in Boston, USA. Kapplow creates participatory experiences that elicit unexpected intimacies using objects, alternative interpretations of existing environments, installation, performance, writing, audio and video. Kapplow's work has received government and private grants and has been included in galleries, film and performance festivals in the US and internationally.
During her residency from January to February 2019, Heather Kapplow was interested in the question what luxury is. She presented her research in 3 participatory exhibitions and performances:
